He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ochs and Beatha Ochs; his daughter Patty Ochs; his parents-in-law, Neil, Laila Ackland, Peggy Ackland and Robert Ackland; and his siblings, Clayton, Norma, Marion, Crystal and Tommy.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ochs; his daughters, Robin Ochs-Beall (Greg) and Julie Walk (Brian); his grandchildren, Andrea DeBoer (DJ), Wade Hoffer (Carmon) and Colby Strilaef (Rachel); his great grandchildren, Tanner DeBoer, Taylor DeBoer, Talon DeBoer, Wesley Hoffer, Eli Hoffer and Mia Hoffer; his siblings, David Ochs (Joy) and Gayle Olson; his brother-in-law Richard Ackland; and his pet Twix. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bonnerup Funeral Service - Albert Lea (2210 E Main St, Albert Lea, MN 56007). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, April 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials can be made to the Freeborn Co. Humane Society and Youth for Christ.
