He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Paul and Rose Mershon (Iverson); his wife Janet Olsen; his parents-in-law, Ayna and Catherine Olsen; his grandson Richard Jeffrey Mershon; his siblings, Charles Mershon (Margaret), Donna Mershon and Robert Mershon (Millie); and his siblings-in-law, Eugene Oldenburg, Leroy Larson, Betty Olsen and Verna Stumo.
He is survived by: his children, Lori Willaert (Ray) of Mankato and Rick Mershon of Dallas, TX; his grandchildren, Nicole Goettl (Matt), Jack Mershon (Joy) and Casey Willaert (Carlene); his great grandchildren, Izaak, Keith, Eli, Ben, Elaine, Henry, William, Daisy and Orion; his sisters, Marlene Oldenburg and Joyce Larson; and his siblings-in-law, Jean Moe (Warren), Karen Olsen, Nancy Schulz (Art) and Paul Stumo.
Masks are required in the church and social distancing protocol will be followed.
