He was predeceased by: his parents, Neil Giebel and Melva Giebel; and his stepmother Marilyn (Jordan). He is survived by: his wife Pamela Nolden; his children, Bradley Giebel (Laura), David Evans (Elizabeth), Paul Giebel (Kat), Chad Rhiger, Matthew Giebel (Wahnita), Sarah Nelson (Peter) and Denise Holliday (Darrell); his siblings, Jan Kiggins (Bill), Laurie Golla (Mike), Karen Timmerman (Dan), Lovie Nelson (Gene), Patti Dorshorst (Russ), Barbie Parkinson (Darrell) and Kevin Giebel (Kris); his sisters-in-law, Carole Brill (Paul), Sheila Hansen, Kris Hansen and Peggy Nolden; and his grandchildren, Lucy, Penelope, Garrett, Aaron, Lilijah, Gabriel, Liam, Amelia, Jakob, Grace and Violet. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
