He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clarence Cox (Emily) and Emily Cox (Miller); his stepson-in-law Tim Wolf; his wife Darlene Cox (LaMont); his stepchildren, Cindy Spencer, Shelly Groven (Dennis) and Nicole Gilliam (Gary); his granddaughters, Michelle Spencer, Amy Groven, Amber Groven and Brittany Billings; and his siblings, Debra Martin (Ronnie) and Gordon Cox. He was also cherished by several great-grandchildren.
