He was predeceased by: his father Melvin Nelson; and his sister Kimberly Nelson. He is survived by: his mother Darlene Nelson (Hassing); his wife Jamie Jepson; his children, Tina Schmidt (Dan), Rachel Ladlie (Kyle) and Marc Nelson (Emily); his grandchildren, Gabby (Weston Dahl), Tayler, Brendan, Anika, Axel and Adalynn "Peanut"; his sisters, Julie Habana (Brad), Pat Nelson (Gary Davies) and Jolene Saleen (Steve); his parents-in-law, Bunny and Ray Jepson; and his brothers-in-law, Steve Jepson and Dave Jepson (Tamra). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Rande's family.
