With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ramona Ramsey of Albert Lea, Minnesota, born in Rake, Iowa, who passed away on September 5, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert E. Lund and Abbie R. Lund (Rake); her sister-in-law Janice Knutson (Bob); her former husband Lowell Siefken; her brothers, Roy, Wally, Gerald and Harvey; and her stepgrandchildren, Tye and Anna.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathryn; her husband Gordon Ramsey; her daughters, Kim Thompson (Wendell), Kari Pinto (John), Kelli Brune (Luverne) and Kathy Moric; her stepchildren, Pat Freese (Dick), John Ramsey (Becky), Gail Robinson (Gary), Cory Linton (Johnny) and Brian Ramsey (Lynn); her grandchildren, Desiree, Dawn, Linzi, Lee, Daymond, Aaron, Karli, Jake, Jared, Heidi, Lana, Randi, Cassie, Dani, Sarah, Eric, Chelsa, JoAnna and Hope; her sister Avon Olson (Darvin); and her brother-in-law Dave Siefken (Jan). She is also survived by two stepsons and three stepdaughters.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer's Association, Rake Cemetery Fund, or East Freeborn Lutheran Church.
