It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ralph Malakowsky (Albert Lea, Minnesota), who passed away on September 5, 2018, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Shelly Malakowsky; his grandson Derek Malakowsky; his parents, Carl Malakowsky and Irene Malakowsky; his parents-in-law, Aernout Hoogenraad and Adriana Hoogenraad; his brother Charles Malakowsky; and his brothers-in-law, Gerrit Hoogenraad and Adrianus Hoogenraad.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Kay; his children, Nancy Grosland (Steve), Forrest Malakowsky (Sharon), David Malakowsky (Amanda) and Matt Malakowsky; his grandchildren, Ashley Casey (Sean), Patty Rodel (Kevin), Jeimmy Cooling (Matt), Judi Grosland, Bryan Grosland, Heather Tonkin (Josh), Melissa Malakowsky, Jason Malakowsky, Tiara, Tylar, Dacoda and Dylan Malakowsky; his great grandchildren, Peyton, Sean Jr., Anastyn and Jude; and his siblings-in-law, Johannes Hoogenraad (Chris), Karel Hoogenraad (Mary), Theodore Hoogenraad (Delphine), Carolina Stern (Keith) and Elaine Malakowsky.
