It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phyllis Scherb of Albert Lea, Minnesota, who passed away on January 8, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Byron Scott and Esther Scott (Toenges); her son Gregory; her husband Julius; her siblings, Dorothy Swedberg (Don), Lorraine Meinke (Paul) and Lawrence (Dorothy); her parents-in-law, Irma Hagen (Manville), Phillip Scherb, Mildred, Marjorie, Paul Scherb (Adeline), Lucas Scherb, Martin Scherb (Mabel) and Eldo Scherb; her friend Matthew Stenseth; her niece Baby Girl Scott; her nephew Brian Scott; her great-nephew Tim Simpson; and her parents-in-law, Barney and Mary Scherb.
She is survived by: her daughter Carol Lynn Purdy (Albert); her granddaughters, Krista Ahnemann (Noel) and Kelly Kleven (Paul); her great grandchildren, Caleb, Spencer, Elianna Kleven, Becca and Mikinley Ahnemann; and her sister-in-law Janet Scherb. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Because of Covid-19 masks are required during the visitation and service and all Social Distancing Rules will be followed.
