He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Peterson and Louise Peterson; his grandparents, A. G., Grace Seuser, Peter and Olena Peterson; his parents-in-law, Clarence and Edna Anderson; his siblings-in-law, Gerald Groe, Earl Ehrenberg and Maxyne Groe; and his nephews, Steven Groe and Chad Peterson.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Lee Anderson; his sons, Mark of Brandon, SD, Joel (Christina) of Worcester, MA, Timothy of Albert Lea and Michael (Mark France) of New York City; his siblings, Rick Peterson of Las Vegas, NV and Judy Ehrenberg (Earl) of Cedar Rapids, IA; his sister-in-law JoEllen Bailey (Jim) of Mason City, IA; his nieces and nephews, Debbie Wagner (Bill), David Ehrenberg, Heidi Howland (Stet), Craig Groe, Gerilyn Elsen (Mike), Stacy Simpson (Barry), Stephanie Arneson (Shaun) and Matt Bailey; his grandchildren, Jeremy Peters (Angela), Monica Szymonic (Peter), Maribel Ruggaber (Philip), Esther Zech (Charles), Hadassah Peters, Isaiah Peters, Judah Petersen and Westley Adams; and his great grandchildren, Caleb, Elias, Dayton, Kaiden, Isaac, Ezra, Jeremiah, Jack, Emma, MacKenzie, Miley, Sadie, Maya, Elianna and Lillian.
