He was predeceased by: his father Clyde Wakefield; and his grandparents, Margaret Osheim, Merle Wakefield and Ardis Wakefield. He is survived by: his mother Sharon of Albert Lea; his brothers, Lance Wakefield (Sherrie) of Pemberton, Vince Wakefield (Kristine) of Albert Lea and Tracy Lamey (Mark) of Anchorage; and his nieces and nephews, Caitlyn, Kylie, Carter Wakefield of Pemberton, Alexander Wakefield, Isaac Wakefield of Albert Lea, Christopher, Remington, Gabriel Lamey of Anchorage and Mikhayla Nguyen (Andy) of South Korea. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
