He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Akemann; his sons, Scott (Brenda), Daniel (Julie), Mark (Stacia) and Jason (Sarah); his grandchildren, Brittany, Garrett, Caleb, Jordan, Lindsay, Morgan, Zack, Ashley, Jaden, Landon, Brody and Logan; and his sisters, Helen Gaines, Esther Haugen, Frieda Gullford (Carroll) and Gladys Borkowski (Allen). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
