It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melba Meincke (Albert Lea, Minnesota), who passed away on March 22, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman and Emma; her husband Bernard; her siblings, Erdman Will and Luella Stehr; her brother-in-law Herbert Stehr; her granddaughter Glenda Gordon; her brother-in-law Ray Hinsch; her niece Susan Nibbe; and her nephew Neil Nibbe.
She is survived by: her children, Marcene Gordon (Tom) and Steve Meincke; her grandchildren, Stacy Vollmer (Jordan), Neil Meincke, Ryan Meincke and Karrie Butler; her great grandchild Katelyn Vollmer; and her siblings-in-law, Lorraine Hinsch, Marlene Nibbe (Fritz), Shirley Chenard and Alvin Meincke (Linda). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
