She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Grosland and Ina Grosland; her former husband Martin Nelson; her daughter Marilyn Hillman; her grandchild Randee Kim Bogue; her parents-in-law, Jens and Minnie Nelson; and her siblings, Kerma Grosland, Lavon, Virgil and Paul Grosland.
She is survived by: her siblings, David Grosland (Diane) and Jo Ann Villa (Jim); her husband Gary Hillman; her stepchildren, Peter (Niccole), David (Carrie Kirsch) and Laura (Ryan Wangen); her son Merlyn (Mary); her grandchildren, Jason, Jenny (Cody Lembke) and Daniel; her daughter Mary; her son-in-law Gary Loewenberg; her grandchildren, Jeremy (Diane), James, Jens (Julia), Jay (Carrie) and Jon (Kelly); her siblings-in-law, Ruth, Talora Grosland, Dorothy Larson and Donald Larson; and her great-grandparent Mavis. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
