She was predeceased by: her parents, Thursten "Turk" Nelson and Jeanette Nelson (Ness); her brother Richard "Penny" Nelson (Shirley); her great grandchild Jasmine Evans; and her former husbands, Ralph Moore of Albert Lea and Kenneth Evans of Albert Lea.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas Evans (Mary Susan) of Albert Lea, James "J. B." Evans of Albert Lea and Martha Diedrich (John) of Waseca. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
