It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Lavonne Nelson of Albert Lea, Minnesota, born in Clarkfield, Minnesota, who passed away on April 9, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Steve Edmunds and Gladys Edmunds; her husband Roger Nelson; her parents-in-law, Melvin and Ruth Nelson; her son-in-law Leo Skogen; her brothers, Ron Edmunds and Harlan; her siblings-in-law, Adie Nelson and John Hutchinson; and her nephew David Edmunds.

She is survived by: her children, Marilyn, Jeremy and April Hendrickson; her grandchildren, Genevieve, Talya and Casey; her son Levi Hendrickson; her grandson Jack; her children, Tessa and Ryan Olson; her grandchildren, Lydia and Anissa; her daughter Jill Skogen; her grandchildren, Heather and Ian Davis; her great grandchildren, Dusti and Trenton; her grandchildren, Cliff and Jodi Anderson; her great grandchildren, Devon and Jorgen; her grandchildren, Mark and Joyce Vosler; her great grandchildren, Henry, Hans and Harrison; her grandchild Jerry Goodmanson; her great grandchildren, Brooke, Joshua Parks, Brianne and Mark Wagner; her son Ross Nelson; her grandchildren, Rikki and Kenny Kolquist; her great grandchildren, Berkley and Boston; her grandchild Ryland Nelson; her great grandchild Kenna; her son Reid Nelson; her grandchildren, Jordan, Aidan, Jake Pramann and Kale; her brothers, Keith (Georgia Edmunds) and Robert (Sharon Edmunds); her sisters-in-law, Judy Edmunds and Sandra Hutchinson (Nelson); and also, Audrey, Benjamin, Nathaniel, Grace and Manny. She is also survived by cousins and nieces and nephews.

It wasn't surprising, however, that during the summer of the pandemic she chose to purchase another home on wheels and live there rather than in "lock down".
