He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxine Bowen and Elmer Bowen; his wife Sharon Jakobson; his brother Bradley Bowen; his sisters-in-law, Mary Kay Jakobson and Linda Jakobson; and his in-laws, Marion and Arlo Jakobson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kara Wayne (Charles) of Minneapolis and Shelly Alstead (Pamela) of Austin; his grandchildren, Alec Wayne (Sarah), Haley Wayne and Jacob Schlichter; his great grandchildren, Harper Wayne and Brynn Wayne; and his brother-in-law Jerome Jakobson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends.
