It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leona Bjelland of Albert Lea, Minnesota, who passed away on December 2, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nels Stalheim and Karine Stalheim; her husband Richard Bjelland; her grandson Nicholas Bernau; and her siblings, Katherine Varland, Kenton Stahleim, Donald Stalheim and Lorraine Grimsbo.
She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Bernau (Martin) and Carol Bjelland; her granddaughter Emily Bohonek (Jordan); her great grandchildren, Lauren and Reed Bohonek; and her brother Norlan Stalheim (Betty). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, Leona's family asks that you consider a memorial to Peace and Power of First Lutheran Church here in Albert Lea, MN.
