It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon Steffen of Albert Lea, Minnesota, born in Cedar Falls, Iowa, who passed away on July 9, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Laura Ann (Vorpahl); his son Tim (Beth) of Alexandria, Virginia.; his grandchildren, Joshua Steffen (Sarah), Melissa Chism (Chadd), Jordan Schroader, Casey Schroader, Haley Schroader, Justin Steffen (Molly), Finn Steffen, Alec Cash, Elizabeth Cash, Nathan Cash, Nicole Cash, Ben Bien and Natalie Bien; his great grandchildren, Ryan Steffen, Matthew Steffen, John Reese Steffen and Wylon Steffen; his sister Delia Schweitzer of Visalia, CA.; and his siblings-in-law, Jerry Loegering of Albert Lea, MN, Pat Peters of Albert Lea, MN and Tom Vorpahl (Carole) of Monument, Colorado..
