He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean Quintus and Phyllis Quintus (Jensen); his sister Cynthia Jean; his niece Cynthia Jean; and his siblings-in-law, Denny Shirk and Sandy Shirk.
He is survived by: his stepgranddaughters, Jessica and Katie; his friend John; his wife Laura Quintus of Albert Lea, Minnesota; his stepson Jeremy Young (Laura) of Albert Lea, Minnesota; his daughters, Jessica Quintus and Katie Quintus (Matt Tull) of Mason City; his grandchildren, Lyla Young, Chaz and Brody Burgdorf of Albert Lea, Minnesota; his great grandchild Jaynie Burgdorf of Albert Lea, Minnesota; and his sister Valerie Witcraft (John) of Hampton. He is also survived by many numerous nieces, nephews and extended relatives.
