He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Iverson and Juliette Iverson (Lewison); his former wife Wanda Johnson; his brothers-in-law, Robert Winjum and Donald Jackel; and his nephews, Randy Winjum, John Scofield and Jared Peck.
He is survived by: his wife Joann Iverson; his children, Kendra Dumitrache (Robert), Kermit Iverson Jr. (Lisa Kay), Tamera Rudy (Allen), Lisa Jane Nelson (Brad), Debbie Hanson (Ron), Joni Burns and LaRae Strom; his grandchildren, Anthony Iverson, Alex Hanson (Rebecca), Nick Hanson (Emily), Scott Strom, Jade Burns (Randy Christianson), Casey Strom (Paola Castillo), Sam Loeher (Hunter), Abby Askegaard (Gunnar), Savannah Tyrrell (Kyle), Kathryn Iverson, Griffin Nelson, Presley Duenes (Gavin Ignaszewski), Dane Duenes, Trenton Nelson and Andrei Dumitrache; his child Soren Nelson; and his sisters, Barb Jackel and Jean Winjum. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bayview Funeral Home (1415 State Hwy 13, Albert Lea, MN 56007). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Bayview Freeborn Funeral Home (1415 State Hwy 13, Albert Lea, MN 56007). A burial was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at the Hillcrest Cemetery (17544 US-65, Albert Lea, MN 56007).
