It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Petersen (Albert Lea, Minnesota), born in White River, South Dakota, who passed away on November 27, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Petersen and Katherine Petersen (Nielsen); and his sons, Douglas and Scott. He is survived by: his son Ken Petersen (Susan); his grandsons, Doug Petersen (Joy) and Matt Petersen (Tarynn); his daughter-in-law Kandee Petersen; his grandchildren-in-law, Randee Lindeman (Joe), Grant Petersen (Michelle) and Jake Petersen (Sara); his children, Phil Petersen, Melissa Bertleson (Chris), Carrie Rossing (Joe), Amie Petersen and Clayton Petersen (Jill); his grandchildren, Samantha Blettner (Jeff), Ashley Hulshizer (Kyle) and Logan Petersen; and his great grandchildren, Victoria and Kenneth. He is also survived by many siblings, extended relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Mayo Clinic Hospice or First Presbyterian Church, Albert Lea.
