He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Ayers and Alice Ayers (Prange); his former wife Janet Ayers (Miller); and his parents-in-law, Chris and Ellis Miller.
He is survived by: his fiancée Gwen Stallkamp; his children, Georgia Cordingly (Barry), Curtis Ayers (Korine), Phyllis Hoyt (Tim) and Laura Ayers; his stepdaughters, Bonnie Bolinger (Jerry) and Connie Jacobson (Larry); and his siblings, Manville Ayers (Barbara), Clarence Ayers (Janice), Joyce Heitman (Tim) and Kathryn Ayers. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Grace Lutheran Church (918 Garfield Ave, Albert Lea, MN 56007). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at the Hillcrest Cemetery (17544 US-65, Albert Lea, MN 56007).
