It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Richard Mayzlik (Albert Lea, Minnesota), who passed away on June 24, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell F. Mayzlik and Ruth S. Mayzlik (Thompson); his parents-in-law, Herbert and Leona Sorgatz; his stepmother-in-law Mammie Judd Sorgatz; his siblings, Frank Mayzlik and Susan Mayzlik; his brothers-in-law, Roger Schwartz and Glen Wynia; and his nieces and nephews, Christine Wynia, Melissa Mayzlik, Isaac, Noah Mayzlik and Andrew Gleason.
He is survived by: his son Nathan (John); his wife Sandra; his siblings, Judy Schwartz (Mayzlik), Rose Creek, Ronald Mayzlik (Penny), Jerry Mayzlik (Connie) and Austin; and his siblings-in-law, Elaine Gleason (George) of Lapeer, MI, Nancy Champagne (Carl) of Houston, TX., Brenda Hardies (Bradley) of Clio, MI, Susan Schuenke of Faribault, MN, Pamela Sorgatz of Waseca, MN, Larry Sorgatz (Michelle) of Faribault, MN, David Sorgatz (Susan) of Dawson, ND and Timothy Sorgatz (Patty Buesgens) of Waterville, MN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
