He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustav Johnsrud and Johanna Johnsrud; his wife Joy Tate; his granddaughter April Joy Ladlie; and his siblings, Alvin, Helen, Robert and Carl.
He is survived by: his children, Pamela Johnsrud of Albert Lea, MN, Randal "Randy" Johnsrud (Connie) of Rochester, MN and Becky Aarback (Matt) of Northwood, IA; his grandchildren, Ashley Ladlie of Minneapolis, MN and Jenna Bearden (Bradey); his great grandchildren, Brielle, Brock of Oronoco, MN and Jocelyn Webb (Houston); and also, Jaylyn, Hudson of Byron, MN, Johanna Johnsrud (Jediah Bellows) of St. Paul, MN, Krysta Swanson (Al Cornish), Ajna of Plymouth, MN and Kaylen Swanson of Minneapolis, MN..
