She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Sr. Okland and Clara Okland (Handeland); her son David Carlson; her sister Shirley Bartelds (Rodney); and her great-nephew Jonathan Bartelds.
She is survived by: her husband Floyd Carlson; her siblings, Adolph "Sonny" Jr. and Carol Engelby (Gary); and her friends, Gloria Peterson and Sandy Vandegrift. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
