It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janice Dero of Albert Lea, Minnesota, born in Mora, Minnesota, who passed away on January 11, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Houchin and India Houchin (Glasgow); her husband Joseph Dero; her great great grandchild Julian; her siblings, Erwin, Alvin, Ernest Houchin, Dorothy Oquist, Lucille Martin, Hilda Nelson, Eunice Moser and Vera Wessels; her nephews, Melvin and Lonnie Houchin; and her close friend Arlene Saltou.
She is survived by: her children, Deb Deboer of Eustis, FL, Steve Butler of Albert Lea, Kathy Tart (Dave) of Spring Valley, Laurie Boyer (Scott) of Albert Lea, Tim Ingvaldson of Oakland and Jim Ingvaldson (Bernice) of Bagley; her sisters-in-law, Cindy Houchin of Nebraska and Germaine Lemkau of Nebraska; her nieces and nephews, Joy, Dar and Babe; her close friend Patty Mangskau; her pets, Buster and Kobi; and her caregivers, Shelly and Lora Lee. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
