He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Bergen and Luella Bergen (Boyer); and his siblings, Robert M. Bergen, Catherine A. Bergen and Mark J. Bergen.
He is survived by: his siblings, Chuck Bergen (Kim), Peggy Laraway (Steve) and Patricia Bergen; his sister-in-law Maryanne Bergen; and his nieces and nephews, Tara Adams (Brad), Ryan Bergen (Angela), Tim Bergen (Emily), Kelly Bergen (Andrew Wolpers), Anne McMurray (Nate), Stephanie Steidl (Tom), Michael Laraway, Amy Reisdorf (Robert) and Robert Bergen (Anna). He is also survived by 14 great-nieces and nephews; and several extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Theodore Catholic Church (315 E Clark St, Albert Lea, MN 56007). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Croix Hospice, 2580 Bridge Ave., Albert Lea, or St. Theodore Catholic School, 308 E. Fountain St., Albert Lea.
