He was predeceased by: his parents, Nels Mehus and Inga Mehus (Burkhow); and his siblings, Glen Mehus, Eugene (Audrey Mehus), Arlo Mehus, Virgil Mehus, Irene (George Gordon) and Darlene (Carl Dobberstein).
He is survived by: his sons, Bryan and Jon; his grandchildren, Ryan, Kayla Mehus of La Crescent, MN, Richell Mehus, Rocky Larson of River Falls, WI and Randi Mehus of River Falls, WI; his close friend Carol Kallberg of Albert Lea; and his siblings, Marion Mehus (Audrey) of Glenville, MN and Donna Nelson (Dennis) of Glenville, MN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
