He was predeceased by: his parents, Merton and Lila; and his brothers, Kenneth Houg, Myron Houg and Herbert Houg.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Houg; his children, Debbie Holmen (Mike Breuer), Darcy Knudson (Ron) and Mark Houg; his grandchildren, Emily Oman (Justin), Ellie Holmen (Brian Harrison), Derek Lau (Tricia Gregerson), Ashley Lau, Andrew Lau (Colleen Grassley) and David Knudson; his great grandchildren, Shay Oman, Brandtley Lau, Cora Lau and Ziek Knudson; and his close friend Jake Loper. He is also survived by numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
