He is survived by: his wife Lynn Perhus; his children, Ryan Linde (Carol) of Albert Lea, Lisa Joel (Steve Boyken) of Albert Lea, Melissa Kohler (Travis Westcott) of Albert Lea and Kevin Joel (Brianne Plantage) of Albert Lea; his grandchildren, Kristian, Levi, Kylie Sundve, Katie, Dalton Bradley, Dylan Kohler, Mercedes, Alexis and Brentley Joel; his great grandchildren, Jayden, Wrenlyn and Elijah; his siblings, Charles Joel (Judy) of Albert Lea, Laura Joel of Albert Lea, Kathleen Reim (Whitney) of Albert Lea and Roy Joel (LuWanna) of Albert Lea; and his cousin Linda Moreland. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the American Legion Post 56 (142 N Broadway Ave, Albert Lea, MN 56007).
