With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Hoverson (Albert Lea, Minnesota), who passed away on May 26, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Hoverson and Stella Hoverson (Amundson); his cousins, Kermit and Ricky; his siblings, Justine (Duane Van Ryswyk) and Dennis; his brother-in-law R. W. Nelson; and his son Mitchell Thompson.
He is survived by: his friend Roger; his wife Diane; his daughter Michelle Johannsen (Greg); his daughter-in-law Dana Thompson; his grandchildren, Davin Thompson (Erin), Zachary Thompson Thompson (Alyssa), Tyler Johannsen (Rebecca) and Betsy Rose Stulen (Tory); his great grandchildren, Carson, Addison and Cole Thompson; his grandchildren, Wyatt, Harper Thompson, Clint Stulen and Oliver Johannsen; and his sisters, Harriet Nelson and Rita Nelson (Brad). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
