She was predeceased by: her parents, Einer Hansen Solevad and Else Gudrun Poulsen; and her son Thomas Solevad Nielsen. She is survived by: her children, John Mark Nielsen (Dawn), Jane (Doug Wilson), Anne Hibbing (John) and David Nielsen; and her daughter-in-law Patti Meier Nielsen. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren, as well as a sister, a brother and five nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to the Friends of Boyer Chute and Desoto National Wildlife Refuge, the Washington County Foodbank or a charity of the donor's choice.
