He is survived by: his children, Karen Bangert (Mark), Jim Nielsen, Wayne Nielsen (Karen) and Dan Nielsen (Karla); and his grandchildren, Jackie Bangert, Jake Bangert (Carrie), Cody Nielsen (Kamyn), Shelby Nielsen, Cole Nielsen (Brittney), Jordan Nielsen and Lauren Nielsen.
