He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl and Minnie; his brother Stanley R. Jacobsen; and his daughter-in-law Ann Jacobsen. He is survived by: his wife Penny; his children, Carl Jacobsen and Glen Jacobsen (Donna Calander); and his grandchildren, Ayla Jacobsen-Luna (Jennifer Luna) and Hunter Jacobsen. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Albert Lea Education Foundation or Heifer International.
