He was predeceased by: his wife Gen; his parents, Arnold Olson and Margaret Olson (Rauendhorst); his sister Dode Verhey; and his brother-in-law Skin Verhey.
He is survived by: his former wife Connie; his children, Cindy Farr (Darrell), Dan Olson (Carolyn), Beth Lybeck (Marc), Jane Hilgedick (Bill) and Doug Olson (Annie); and his stepsons, John Tasker (Sue) and Max Tasker. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren with 1 on the way; 3 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
