We are sad to announce that on February 18, 2024, at the age of 71, Douglas Walter Wichmann (Albert Lea, Minnesota) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Wichmann and Muriel Wichmann (Klukow); his sister Catherine; his stepfather Don Gries; his father-in-law David Thompson; and his grandparents, Frank, Ella Klukow, George and Marie Wichmann.
He is survived by: his wife Diane; his daughters, Amber Halvorsen (Mark) of Cedar Falls, IA, Amy Dallman (Rob) of Waconia, MN, Jessica Barnick (Ryan) of Mantorville, MN and Angie Petersen (Will) of Mankato, MN; his grandchildren, Emma, Lucas, Samuel Halvorsen, Jagger, Stella, Dakota Dallman, Roman, Jewelty Barnick, June, Jerry and Chip Petersen; his siblings, Annette Bruns (Lowell), Warren Wichmann (Terri) and Jean Wichmann; and his mother-in-law Marlene Thompson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
