He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd and Nellie; his son Frank Giles; his parents-in-law, Laura Rayman and Albert Schumacher; and his siblings, Virgil Giles and Delores VanRyswyk (Les).
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his children, Robert Giles (Iris), Michael Giles (Tammy), Kathy Reyerson (Keith), Donna Tafta and Martha Carmichael (Craig); and his sister-in-law Fern Giles. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
