He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Chryst and Gladys Chryst (Jiles); his siblings, Clayton, Mary and David; and his son Randy.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Chryst of Albert Lea, Minnesota; his children, Jeff Chryst (Kris) of Albert Lea, Mark Chryst of Warrens, Wisconsin and Kathryn Hoyt (Jeff) of Scappoose, Oregon; his siblings, Nancy Chryst of Gig Harbor, Robert Chryst (Betty) of Superior and Bill Chryst of Beloit, Wisconsin.; his granddaughter Sarah Schmidt (Eric); his great grandchildren, Alyssa and Katelyn; his grandson Mark Chryst (Katie); his great grandchildren, Emmett and Declan; and his grandchildren, John Chryst, Emily Chryst and Daniel Chryst. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
