He is survived by: his former wife Janice Van Ryswyk; his mother Delores Grove of Albert Lea, MN; his wife Frances Gulbertson of Albert Lea, MN; the mother of his children Janice Schroader of Albert Lea, MN.; his children, Chad Gulbertson of Albert Lea, MN, Tara Gulbertson of Owatonna, MN and Jenilee Vaale (Michael) of Geneva, MN.; his grandchildren, Arista, Dominik, Tayler Strang, Micaela, Torri and Olivia Vaale; his siblings, Arvilla Bye, Karlene, David, Steve and Kavin Whelan; and his stepsons, Jerry and Vaughan Smalley.
