She was predeceased by: her father DeWain Nelson; her brother Douglas Nelson; and her brother-in-law Kevin Sletten. She is survived by: her mother Elaine Nelson (Nagel) of Albert Lea; her son Nate Hacker (Naomi) of Bismarck, ND; her grandchildren, Easton, Ashlyn and Adelyn Hacker; her former spouse Rich Hacker; and her siblings, Dave Nelson (Cheryl), DeAnn Sletten and Dana (Natalie).
In lieu of flowers, her wish is for memorials to be gifted to the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 16 and Zion Lutheran Church of Albert Lea, MN.
