It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Alan Villarreal of Albert Lea, Minnesota, who passed away on June 30, 2023, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Villarreal and Jovita Villarreal; and his brother Juan Villarreal Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Kristina Villarreal (Rasmussen); his children, David Villarreal (Krystal) of Albert Lea, Jacob Villarreal (Erica) of Albert Lea and Dominique Villarreal (Angela) of Seymour, Indiana; his stepchildren, Dalton Hanson of Albert Lea and Jordan Rasmussen (Kallie) of Farmington, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Lane Henry, Treyton John, Turner James, Tyson David, Kyla Monroe, Beckett Cruz, Ozzie Jordan and Lennox Luverne; his sisters, Yolanda Martinez (Aristeo), Carmen DeBoer (Doug), Jane Christiansen (Terry) and Amy Villarreal; his parents-in-law, Luverne Rasmussen Sr. and Kathleen Rasmussen; his brothers-in-law, Luverne Rasmussen Jr. (Marilyn) and Daniel Rasmussen (Amber); and his close friends, Richard Navarro and Danny Dunford. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be sent to the Moose Charities at 155 N International Dr, Mooseheart, IL 60539 and/or Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation at 230 East Ohio Street, Suite 500.
