It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Behr of Albert Lea, Minnesota, born in Lake Mills, Iowa, who passed away on August 25, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernt Leegaard and Alma Leegaard (Reim); her spouse Eldo Behr; her daughter Starla Haney; her son-in-law Mitch Haney; and her brothers-in-law, Leslie Behr and Ellsworth Behr (Eudene).
She is survived by: her sons, Alan Behr (Debra) and Kevin Behr (Darla); her grandchildren, Heather Haney (Kurt Loverink), Alex Haney (Tara) and Travis Behr; her stepgrandchildren, Brandy Erickson and Justin Flugum; her great grandchildren, Alyssa Erickson, Sara Erickson, Alanna Flugum, Lillian Flugum, Maya Loverink, Isabell Loverink, Dylan Haney and Emmerson Haney; and her sister Joy Behr.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Bear Lake Cemetery Association.
