He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Potter and Naomi Potter (Fultz); his sisters, Evelyn Rogers, Bernice Lamont, Shirley Hunt and Roberta Leonard; and his nephews, Michael Leonard and Kenny Christopher.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sherie Ham (Bob Ham) of Winchester, KY and Susie Knutson (Chuck Knutson) of Albert Lea; his granddaughters, Dorothy Kelly (Paul) of Roanoke, VA and Ellen Oakey of Richmond, VA; and his great grandchild Hunter Kelly. He is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews, and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
