She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Oakland and Helen Oakland (Goodrich); her husband Jerry Romero; her sisters, Georgette Ann and Sandra Tonnette; her brothers-in-law, Harold Vandenheuvel and Carl Attig; her grandparents, Helen Goodrich, Frank, Alma Goodrich, Jake and Inga Oakland; her nephew Brad Young; and her great-nieces, Cortney Attig and Hannah Balander.
She is survived by: her siblings, Lynnette Hendrickson (Duane), Deann Young (Danny), Pat Johnson (Mel), Jackie Holst (Galen) and Rick Oakland (Donna); her nephew Michael Olvera; her niece Melissa Oakland; and her great-nephew Alexander Oakland. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
