He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph "Doc" and Elizabeth "Mae" Bybee (Evans); his siblings, Elizabeth "Liz" Hansen (Lyle), Marion McNab (Dan), Dora Mae Bure (Jasper), Veryl Bybee, Samuel "Buster" Bybee (Arlyss) and Harry "Doc" Bybee (Emmy); and his brother-in-law Arthur "Art" Cook.
He is survived by: his former spouse Kimiko Erdman; his wife Kim; his children, Keith Bybee (Anne), Michael Erdman (Nelda), Teresa Adams and Tammy Jerdee (Jerred); and his siblings, Joseph Bybee, Dick Bybee (Martha) and Mary Cook. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
