It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Lavon Boot (Albert Lea, Minnesota), who passed away on September 3, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Arnold "Arnie" Boot; her parents, Cornelius Hoogland and Agnes Hoogland (Christensen); her sister Lois; and her great grandchild Caleb.
She is survived by: her brother Chuck Hoogland (L'myra); her children, Julie Fischer and Steven Boot (Janet); her grandchildren, Dirk (Kristen), Joshua (Christine), Ayla, Kira, Madison and Whitney; her great grandchildren, Peyton, Culley, Allory, Adelyn, Levi, Micah and Xander; her nieces, Megan and Ellen; and her nephew Ben.
