He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Bunnell and Marian Bunnell (Schmidt); his parents-in-law, Edwin and Palma Hanson; and his brother Lester "Bubs" Bunnell Jr. (Sonny).
He is survived by: his wife Helen; his children, Kris Battleson (Jon) and Kevin Bunnell; and his grandchildren, Christopher Renchin (Natalie) of Albert Lea, Cory Renchin (Shaunee) of Albert Lea, Landon of Albert Lea, Nicolas of Albert Lea and Finnley Bunnell of Albert Lea. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
