She was predeceased by: her husband Thorvald Sanderson; her parents, Llamoyne Jensen and Bernice Jensen (Schiager); her sister Lois Madson (Carlyle); her stepmother Lydia Jensen; and her siblings-in-law, Clarence Sanderson (Eleanor), Tenford Sanderson (Ardus), Julia Kilen (Conrad) and Olive Sanderson.
She is survived by: her children, Kay Sanderson (Barbara Phalen) and Mark Sanderson (Karen); and her granddaughters, Sara Sanderson and Amy Sanderson.
The family kindly request memorial contributions be made to St. John's Lutheran Community or the American Diabetes Association in honor of Barbara.
