She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Smith and Margaret Smith (Hawkins) of Albert Lea; her sisters, Betty and Mona; and her husband Rodney Halvorsen of Emmons.
She is survived by: her brothers, Jack, Bob and Don; her children, Nancy Klingbeil, Rodney Halvorsen (Sue), Shelby Battleson, Marcy Nyholm (Rick), Julie Elvebak (Paul Trytten), Audrey Henkel (Mike) and Gayle Peña (John); her brother Gary Smith (Rita); and her sister-in-law Ingri Krech. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Nasinec Funeral Home (255 2nd Ave SW, Wells, MN 56097). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
