He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Roering and Mary Roering (Tobroxen); his wife Josephine Verkennis; and his siblings, Loretta Jansen, Monica Jagiello, Irene Albers, Rita Williams and Lawrence Roering.
He is survived by: his children, Of Mercy Campus of Care, Charlotte Thieschafer, Sandy Gettel, Bonita Eggerth (Robert), Rodney Roering (Jan), Karen Heinen (Mike) and Lea Reller (Mark). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren with one on the way, 1 great-great-grandchild.
